Hello everyone! Like every year, we have celebrated Halloween and we have decorated the school. We want to show you our Halloween window and...!

Last week our language assitant Danny finished his job in our school. It's been a long year, but the time has gone by so fast...

Danny has helped us so much and we've done many interesting activities with him in class. The boys and girls have talked to Danny in English and they have learnt many things about British culture.

We are going to miss you Danny! We wish you the best! Please, come and visit us anytime!

The Dinosaur Egg

Today, our language assistant Danny has explained a story to the students of 2nd level. The story's title is "The Dinosaur Egg". It is about a mother dinosaur who is looking for her baby dinosaur. This story is focused in the parts of the body vocabulary like: head, legs, arms, nose... After the story we have played some games to revise and practise the words.

Trip to the theatre

Today has been a very special day. The students of 2nd, 4th and 6th have gone to the Círcol Catòlic in Vilanova i la Geltrú to watch theatre plays in English.

The students of 2nd watched Cinderella (Ventafocs).
The students of 4th watched Robin Hood.
And the students of 6th watched Frankenstein.

The students and the teachers have loved the plays, they were funny and very entertaining. We have practised English and we have learnt new words.

The group of theatre belongs to IPA Productions company. We want to congratulate them for the great shows.

School plays

The boys and girls of 6th did theatre activities in English during the second term. They invented short plays, created the background and story elements and rehearsed a lot.

At the beginning of the third term they recorded the plays and they even acted out for other students. The result was brilliant!

Easter holidays

Ok boys and girls, it's Easter time, holidays time!

It's time to relax, spend time with your family, visit your uncles, grandparents and cousins, play sports and games, go to the park, go to the beach, go to the mountain, help your mum and dad at home, go to the cinema, read books, watch TV, draw, do the homework, study...

You can do lots of activities during these days. And remember... when you come back to school, you have to explain all you do to your English teachers and in English! :D

A blast from the past

These videos I post today are from last year. We did interviews in class with 3rd level. I think it is interesting for the students and for the families to watch this beautiful and funny activity. The students look so young! I can only post "some" of the interviews because there are lots, but I can post more if you like.

Trip to the Fonix

Last saturday the 3rd of march, Lluís Xavier, his mum and the English teachers went to Barcelona to the second exam of the Fonix 2012. It was a sunny morning and there was a lot of people waiting outside the INFEC building.

Lluís Xavier was not nervous. At 12 o'clock they started the exam. And it finished at 1 p.m. He said that the exam was not very difficult. We can't wait to see the results!

The Fonix 2012

Last year our school participated in the Fonix. The Fonix is an English contest in Catalonia. Our students of 6th level have done an exam at school and the best mark has been: Lluís Xavier Bacete.

Lluís Xavier will participate in a second exam on saturday the 3rd of March in Barcelona.

We wish you good luck Lluís Xavier!!!

Carnival poster!

This week is Carnival and everyone is dressing up for this festival. We are also decorating the corridors!

Danny the storyteller

Today Danny, our language assistant, has explained a little story to the students of 1st grade. It is a story from the book and it is about Toys. Danny has shown the children big flashcards with the pictures while he was explaining the story.

The children have loved the story!

Carnival's coming

Hello everybody!

Here we are! Second term has started and the students of 4th level are getting ready for Carnival and they are studying the descriptions. We are dressing up in class with hats, wigs, fancy costumes... and we describe each other.

We also like the song "Hats Off" from the book Cool Kids 4 (Oxford).
